Jazz and Swing has never been in greater demand and, once more it’s great to see people of all ages and generations dancing together to the sound of swing classics at weddings and other special events. Saxophones, trumpets, double bass and piano are evocative of a classy and chic musical era of the past.

We are definitely the wedding swing band for you if you fancy a unique setlist that takes you on a musical ‘journey through time’, starting with the jazz & swing music era of the 1930’s and 40’s, passing through the jump-jive of the 1950’s, and ending with a dancefloor-filling selection of pop & soul favourites from the 60’s, 70’s & beyond.”

The band operate all over the UK and abroad. We cater for every size of wedding function, party, or corporate event, and in the last 12 months have played for a wedding of 10 in Manchester and 1,000 in Mumbai! The band is fronted by renowned jazz, swing and blues singer pianist Jem Sassoon and we have band members based in both the North and South of England, whichever caters best for your event.

We’re particularly proud to be able to bring the UK’s A-list touring musicians to your wedding. The band members pictured on this website have played regularly with The Eagles, Bryan Ferry, Eric Clapton, Chaka Khan, Jamiroquai, Sting, Jools Holland, Kylie Minogue, Carlos Santana, Mel C, Lisa Stansfield, and Corinne Bailey Rae. It doesn’t get better than that!

Wedding Swing Band Booking Options

The band can be booked in three different sizes depending on the size of your wedding or event, your personal preference or your budget; a 4-piece swing band (with one saxophone) a 6-piece (with 3 piece brass section) and a 7-piece (with guitar). The setlist is very similar for each format. Please take a look at our playlist, which includes wedding swing favourites such as Come Fly With Me, Fly Me To The Moon and Mac the Knife and ends with Lovely Day, I Feel Good and Shake a Tailfeather!

We play either 2 x 45min sets or 1 x 90 min set as standard. If you want a different format, please ask. Feel free to pick your first dance from the playlist and we will announce you onto the dance floor. If you have a special song that’s not on the list, we will do our best to learn it for you.
